Following Christ is not always easy but it is always right.

❝ If you had the cure to cancer wouldn’t you share it? You have the cure to death: get out there and share it. ❞

Kirk Cameron

I always think of this when people say “Why don’t you just keep your Christianity to yourself?” That’s the most selfish thing I could do.

❝ Jesus tells us that the last days will be like the days of Noah and of Lot, in which people ate, drank, bought, sold, planted, built, and so on. Have you noticed that none of these things are sinful in themselves? They are all legitimate activities. Why then did Jesus mention them as being peculiarly characteristic of those sinful days? Because the people of those days were so occupied with these legitimate activities as to have no time for God at all. The Devil succeeded in getting them to crowd God out of their lives altogether. This of course resulted, as it always will, in moral decay and corruption. ❞

I have a choice between anger or mercy, judgement or grace, offense or forgiveness, being right or being humble.

The tragedy in our generation today, is that ladies would rather have a man of God than God himself; don’t be so eager to find your man of God, when you have yet to find yourself in God who made all man.

WOW. If this isn’t the 100000% truth.

❝ Distractions must be conquered or they will conquer us. So let us cultivate simplicity; let us want fewer things; let us walk in the Spirit; let us fill our minds with the Word of God and our hearts with praise. In that way we can live in peace even in such a distraught world as this. ❞

I wish I had friends like this.

  • God doesn't want our second best. He doesn't want a mere hour of your day. He wants to be at the center of your day, he wants to be at the center of you. I know how hard it is to balance a life around Jesus, school, life, friends, crushes, relationships. it seem to get the best of us. I'm guilty, but you see I'm not unashamed to admit I'm a failure or how much I sin. When my moms yells at me, "that's unchristian like" I could guarantee you hot streams of tears always fall down my face. Because I always feel like I failed my first ministry but, you see my family is different opposed to many others. So lets get this detail straight, you are not called to be perfect. You will fail, constantly. You are not alone, Jesus is always with you. He has never left you, and never will. You are loved, despite how much you sin, God does not hate you. Never has, never will. Don't confuse situations you've chose to think God has cursed you. We chose free willed and we will make mistakes, and God will always find a way to meet us through our valleys. Learn to know what voice is the devils and which is Gods. The negative are always the devils. Learn how to shut him up with scripture and radial faith. Learn to open your heart, I know how hard it is. My biggest struggle to this day. But be open even if it hurts, it builds your character. And never look away from the cross, it will be your fall. Trust the hand that's leading you, despite what you are leaving behind. If they really wanted you they'd seek after the kingdom too. I hope this helps in the sense in an easy way to see things. These are areas I struggle with and I know if I struggle with it their must be other people who struggle with it also.
